Day of Party Timeline
This page will walk you through the typical birthday party at Thunder Road. It walks through everything from setting foot in the building to walking back to your cars after the party is over.
Arrival
- Once you arrive at Thunder Road, check in at the Front Counter with our staff.
- Your Party Host will bring you and your guests back to your party room. They can also help with bringing in any cake, desserts, supplies, and more.
- If you brought any additional decorations with you, please ask your Party Host to assist you with putting them up.
Private Party Room (1 Hour)
- As your guests arrive for your party, your Party Host will confirm the details of your booking with you and bring in the pitchers of soda and the pizzas. We don’t bake the pizzas until you arrive, just in case any last minute changes need to be made.
- After everyone is done eating, you will have the remaining time in the room available for opening presents, serving cake or cupcakes (we can provide candles as well), and any other party activities.
- Before your time in the room is complete, your bill with the remaining total will be brought to you in the room. Bring it to the front counter to settle up and receive your entertainment cards and tickets.
Entertainment (1-2 Hours)
- Your party host will begin your entertainment by distributing the cards and tickets and explaining how to use them.
- Once your guests have started entertainment, please remove any personal belongings from your room so that your party host can begin cleaning for the next event.
- If you have any refrigerated or frozen items you would like us to store for you during your entertainment, please ask your party host. They will also help you with taking any items out to your vehicle if you would like the assistance.
- Feel free to find a seat in our snack bar or anywhere in the arcade while your party enjoys their entertainment! Some attractions allow for chaperones to accompany children at no extra charge. Our staff are happy to accommodate your requests if you wish to stay near your party members.
- If any problems occur with cards, tickets, or any other matter, let a staff member know and one of our shift leads will resolve them promptly.
Departure
- Once your entertainment is concluded, check your balance at our redemption counter and exchange your points for prizes. You may discard your game cards if you choose (you are welcome to keep your cards for another day, they’re good for ten years!)
- If you left any refrigerated or frozen items with us, stop by the front desk or ask your party host to retrieve them for you.
- As you depart, we are happy to help you carry items to your car for you.
