Birthday Party Frequently Asked Questions
How far in advance do I need to book my party?
Parties must be booked at minimum 2 days before the date of the party.
Is a deposit required?
Yes, a $50 is required to reserve the time slot for your birthday party.
Can I reschedule my party if we can not make it?
Yes, please call 605-334-4181 to reschedule your party. Your deposit will also be carried over to the new party date as well.
What if I need to cancel my party?
If you need to cancel your party, please call 605-334-4181 to do so. Your deposit can be refunded back to you if you cancel at least 24 hours before your party.
What entertainment is provided with the party?

What food & drinks are provided with the party?
Every package includes 2 One Topping 16″ Pizzas and 2 Pitchers of Pop. You are welcome to purchase extra pizzas & pitchers of pop too. Your food & drinks will be brought to you in your party room.
Can I bring my own meal for my party?
No, Thunder Road does not allow any outside food or drinks. The only exception is for desserts, such as cake, cookies, etc.
How long do I have my party room for?
Parties only have the party room for the first hour of the party. After that first hour, you will need to remove your items so our staff can begin cleaning.
How early can I show up for my party?
You can arrive for your party 15 minutes in advance. If you arrive earlier, we can not guarantee that your room will be ready for you.
Can I bring in my own cake & cupcakes?
Yes, you can bring your own cake, cookies, or other desserts. However, you are not allowed to bring any outside food or drinks that are not desserts.
Do you provide candles & lighters?
Yes, you can ask your Party Host to bring some candles and a lighter for your dessert.
Can I bring my own decorations?
Yes, but restrictions apply. Thunder Road prohibits glitter, confetti, or silly string on the premises. Banners and other hung decorations will be hung with help from staff to ensure they hang from the cork strips attached to the walls and not the drywall itself. Any kind of tape or command strings are not permitted. Failure to follow these policies will result in additional cleaning fees.
